I wanted something to replace the plastic base on my Steelcase Leap v2 chair that had begun to twist. I like this as it's one piece (no assembly required) and the shorter diameter means the arms don't extend from the actual chair too much which is better for feet placement.It was a little more expensive than some but it seems like a quality product, time will tell if it holds up, it seems well built so I have confidence it will last.

After my expensive chair legs snapped I really was not wanting to spend more on a new one, this item has saved me £300, I paired it with some nice wheels and my chair looks and feels like new!

The base seems sturdy and well built, however the arms are shorter than I expected (radius of the base) which is not a problem per se, but I'm quite short (1.63cm) so on my first attempt to sit down I was slightly too forward on the seat and the rear feet lifted off the ground. I had an accident with this secret labs gaming chair, this base fit perfectly. Had to remove old base with a hacksaw but eventually came off and this just slot right in and it's as good as new. Great value for money and appears very durable.

This arrived quickly, is exactly what I needed. The hardest part was removing the base from my existing stool. Once that was done it was easy to attach this new base. I'm really pleased with this product. The wheels move smoothly and very quickly. Brilliant.

Do NOT purchase this if you have just had new carpet fitted and are thinking it will do less overall damage than standard office chair wheels, was fine for about a week then started littering ball bearings, 1-5 per day, covered in grease, all over my brand new carpet. Leaving thick grease marks. Perhaps i was unlucky and got a faulty one, but it seemed in perfect condition and sturdy enough upon arrival.

Essendo la base in alluminio risulta molto più leggera rispetto a quella originale (in metallo cromato), comunque è molto stabile, più di ogni rosea aspettativa. Associando la stabilità e la leggerezza della base alle rotelle in gomma (rispetto a quelle in plastica) la poltrona si è trasformata in un concentrato di comodità e silenziosità. No es que sea un artículo barato, pero si se trata de reparar un sillón que costó caro pero la base resistió poco, merece la pena.Se ve fuerte, es sencillo de montar y encajaba a la perfección con las medidas que indicaban.
