One of our favorites - back in a reprint!
My husband and I came across this game several years ago and its one of our favorites - definitely the best out of all the card games based on board games like Scrabble Slam or Yahtzee Hands Down - honestly one of our all-time favorites. We lost a few cards out of original deck (red backing) and I'm so happy that this game came back in a reprint (the set I got included the robot token and the card backs are green). The game definitely has the predatory Monopoly board game feel to it but instead of running for hours and permanently damaging feelings and relationships, games are usually over in 20 minutes leaving players wanting more. The object of the game is to collect 3 complete sets of properties. (When just the two of us, my husband and I might play to 5). Other players can demand money from you in the form of birthday presents, rent, etc and if not careful these payments may have to come out of your property collection if you run out of money in your 'bank'. Players can also steal your property but if you have a 'Just Say No' card you can cancel other players' demands. This game is pretty light on strategy - basically a lot of decisions are based on timing - but we still find the game oddly addicting.Easy to teach others. Great game for multiple players but also plays well with only two players. Great travel game and light gaming fun for those nights you don't really want to pull out anything too cerebral. It's nice go between for us when we don't want to play anything so random as Fluxx but don't want to get involved in something more involved like Risk, Ticket to Ride or Battle Line. The robot token was a nice touch (probably would have prefered a plastic storage case as a bonus instead) but we hardly ever play the board game version of Monopoly.

This game needs more popularity! Poker level combination of "luck of draw" and strategy!
Extremely fun game! Maybe because I just keep on winning. I don't know why I keep winning vs. the rest of my family, but I've tried out a few strategies and I've told everyone exactly what my strategy is. The way I see it, there are three main things you need to do in order to have the best chance of winning:1: Populate your "Bank" pile with cards from other people as much as possible. If you can charge rent, play a Birthday card, or any other number of cards to take money from people, do so as much as possible in the first few rounds of the game.2: Play all three cards allowed each turn and try to get down to zero cards in your hand. Once you have zero cards in your hand you get to draw five cards on your next turn.3: Draw as many cards as you can. This really stems from the last strategy. Whoever draws the most cards has the highest chance of drawing the cards they need.My wife and I like to play two player, but the game can go by way too quick with fewer players. In order to make the game last longer we'll just play to four or five sets, instead of three. The rules are clear and easy to pick up. I haven't seen anyone have a bad time playing the game.My only nitpick is that there are a few grey areas in the rules where things get a little bit ambiguous. We've had to come up with some "House Rules" to fill in the blanks for certain situations. As an example, the multicolored property wild card has no monetary value, but what if you get charged more than you can pay and you have that card with your properties? Since it has no monetary value, we have decided that it can't be used as payment, but if it remains your only card and you still owe then you have to burn it to the bottom of the draw deck. There's many other little rules we've had to make in order to keep peace and order. The whole cut-throat nature of Monopoly remains, with extremely fierce competition and big wins and epic losses. Great game!

Got me through jail.
When i was in a jail like program to clear charges off of my record i found myself very board and i didn't know what i could do sure i could draw or write letters but that just wasnt interesting enough so my platoon had this game monopoly deal. we didnt read the rules lol we just kinda made our own game. we only got to play with the platoon owned stuff every couple of days but our own cards and such we could play everyday. so i asked my mom to get me the game. and the next week i got called for a package and it was monopoly deal. i got the game myself and figured out just how many of each card there was and then learned the probability for each card. My friend and i played every day. it never got old. it was always some new experience where you could just keep drawing and playing cards if you got lucky enough and sometimes you could even win without the other person getting a turn. it was one of the only things that got me through the days. 3 months and i dont think i went a day without playing. it was alot of fun and i thanked her immensely for it. anyways that was my extremely long drawn out review XD. good cards 10/10

Great game and very easy to learn for all ages
Definitely a great game to have around the house because of how fun it is, but also how easy it is to learn. Most people I've played with pick the game up after one practice round. It can be played with up to 5 people, and each game usually lasts around 20 minutes. That being said, this game can be cutthroat with people stealing properties and money left and right. In one turn you can go from the richest person in the game needing only one card to win- down to having nothing. Love playing this game with my classmates and has become a must have around the house. That being said, this does seem like an older version: I feel like a version that my friend owns requires that a player pay 5 mil for Debt Collector, but this version says 3 mil. That's the only change I've noticed, and we end up just playing it as 5 mil anyways since its so much more devastating.

Producto bien, caja algo deteriorada
