Kuhne or Gundelsheim Barrel Sauerkraut, 28.5oz (810g)

To me, this is the best tasting Sauerkraut on the market. Great as a side dish for Bratwurst, Ribs, Porkchops, and to make Sliders or Reuben sandwiches with. Doesn't have the bitter aftertaste I have found in other brands.

No longer could get barrel sauerkraut at local grocery stores. This brand is even better than what had been getting. If you like sauerkraut, you'll love this.

Product was good but the s&h was outrageous.

This is a wonderful sauerkraut and as close to home-made as you might get. I like it cold as a sidedish or hot and served with hot dogs or brats or even pork chops. Sauerkraut is very very good for you and this brand has very few ingredients and so doesn't interfere with the vitamins you can get out of it.I actually like Gundelsheim's red cabbage kraut a little better than this one, but this is now my favorite store-bought sauerkraut. It may be a bit more expensive than those cans of cheap sauerkraut, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Thu is by far the best I have tasted. It is much finer than other brands and it isnt super saturated with liquid. It's crunchy and super flavorful. I eat this stuff regularly but this jar required a special meal: kielbasa, potato, onion, tomato, and kraut. Perfect for a cold night. My Ukrainian blood has spoken!!

Great taste. Will buy again.
