Fantasia 119630 12" inch Desktop Desk Metal Vintage Black Fan

Liked so much Purchased 2... great retro look much better than plastic junk that don’t last. Proper old school, not the quietest but great air flow and styling. Place an ice bottle behind fan and it’s like aircon in this heatwave.

I read some reviews that said this product isn’t a very powerful breeze but it absolutely is. It works perfectly and looks great.

The instructions are dire. One half page diagram listing parts. More than twice that much given to totally obvious ‘safety’ rubbish.Once I got it put together I thought I just have done something wrong. Unless you’re sitting two feet in front of it the only way to tell it’s on is by the noise.Here’s a photo of it with a piece of tissue paper attached (yes, not real paper, tissue paper). As you can see it is barely stirred by the feeble breeze this thing emits at full speed.

Received this today and was immediately impressed with the quality of the materials and the styling - it was the retro styling that really caught my eye and it isn't disappointing. To be honest I was almost put off by the 1 star review, but as I have owned a Fantasia ceiling fan for many years and am very pleased with that, I decided to give this a go. I am so glad I did as I sit here basking in the soothing breeze. Definitely recommend.

Delighted with this fan. Looks so stylish and generates lots of cool air almost silently

I was pretty unimpressed that the fan arrived only half assembled; expecting the customer to assemble a £50 fan themselves is rather cheeky, especially when the £10 cheapo it's replacing arrived ready to go!The main issue however, is that it arrived broken. I noticed right out of the box, that the motor housing appeared bent out of alignment with the base/pedestal. Trying to remain hopeful, I laboured for roughly 15mins, putting it together, only to find out the oscillating feature was broken, with the fan emitting a horrible clicking sound.I wish I'd listened to the other bad reviews, the whole thing feels cheap and nasty, even if it had worked, I'd have still been left with the flimsy controls, and uneven paint job. The cheapo plastic fan I already have is quieter and feel more robust! So another 20mins wasted putting this trash back in the box, and labelling it up for return, thanks a bunch Fantasia!
