Very handy

This is definitely the easiest 1/4 dicer I've ever used. It cuts them pretty quickly without much effort. Very good for the price to I've had some 1/4 dicers that cost more but it was such a pain to use them I wouldn't do it again if it were free. The reason it's not 5 stars and im taking 1 away is because very often the onion depending on the size will slip off. You really have to cut it down so it fits perfectly which leads to my next complain being I wish it were slightly bigger so you could get at least a whole half onion in there. It really doesn't seem like they had really huge onions in mind which is what I find myself dealing with most of the time. Finally the stainless steel cleaning guard that comes on it is awful. Everytime I finished using it I go to pull that guard off. It gets stuck and bends up feels like I'm gonna break it. I ended up replacing that with a separately sold plastic one that comes off easier and much better in fact I'm not sure why it didn't come on here in the first place. If your looking for a fast 1/4 dicer that's easy to clean this is the 1 I'd recommend thoughEditI will take back what I said about the onions slipping off of the platform at times. After using it differently I discovered the best way to do it is to come down with the arm slowly until the food is firmly caught in the grate then I can finish at normal fast speed without that happening so that I will take fault for but my other arguments still stand

Seems a little flimsy and it takes a hard press to get it to cut. When it cuts it does not cut completely at times. Its big brother seems to be a lot sturdier but also more costly. The more costly version is probably worth the money.

This is great for many items but particularly onions. Easy to clean. Sometimes I have some trouble pushing it down but that may be user frailty.

I love my new alligator chopper! Its great for dicing onions and garlic as well. So much better than trying to chop with a knife!

BUY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! It was not what I expected. Low expectations. Very hard to use. Soft vegetables do not cut them, like tomatoes, they squeeze them. I lost my money. It goes to the trash. I do not recommend it.

Love that this product can be taken apart and put in the dishwasher! Great for making a salad medley of cubes.
