My dogs love it.
The "Frisbee" flies true and far. The dogs can tug on it without damaging it (for a time). The first one lasted about 8 months of being played with daily and left outside (from summer to the following spring) before developing a tear.My initial complaint: it wasn't the color that was described in the listing. I've ordered and received two, but neither have been the color selected (green and yellow). I've received a white one w/pink streaks and a blue one with green streaks. What's up with that?

Smaller size, still big fun and quality.
I already wrote a review of the larger Ruff Dawg flyer. My opinion of this flyer is the same in terms of the quality and fun-factor. This size is even better for smaller dogs. Our pup, Charles, is a 15lb terrier mix. He loves his regular size flyer, but he loves this one even more. He carries it around the house and even puts it on his bed and sleeps next to it some afternoons. Here is the text of my original review for the larger size.**************************************Product design? In a k-9 flyer? If it's round and flat, doesn't that cover it? No, you need more and here's why.The dog parks are littered with hard plastic flying discs left behind by owners. They are missing pieces after being clenched and tugged in too many jaws. They are slick with doggie saliva. The dogs start to ignore them. How is this different?+ Material. This flyer has a soft, flexible rubber that withstands sharp doggie teeth. You see indentations from teeth, but it is difficult to rip into pieces. Unlike the hard plastic discs that have chunks missing, this flyer will continue to fly well for months of play time. Also, though I've done no scientific tests, this always feels less slimy than the hard plastic versions. This greatly reduces the ick-factor related to extended fetch sessions.+ Shape. It's flat but has a slight lip around the edge. This makes it much easier to pick-up. We've tried dozens of flyers for our pup, but his lack of opposable thumbs creates real challenges when retrieving them from flat surfaces like pavement or a wooden deck. He never has issues with the Ruff Dawg flyer.+ Flexibility. This flyer is slightly floppy. It's very easy for him to fold in half and carry around. If you have a smaller dog, this greatly increases the fun-factor. Also, I'm never worried about tossing it around in the back yard. It doesn't harm anything if my poor aim sends it careening into a window or flower pot.You may think that all flying discs are created equal, but this one is much better for doggie play than any other we've tried. Charlie loves it so much that we bought extra in case one is lost.

Great concept but doesn’t throw straight and goes too fast
Hard for dog to catch as it throws very fast and then tilts at the end. This is because the rubbery material is misshapen. It isn’t flat.

My dogs can’t destroy them and they like them.
The dogs can fold them on half when they carry them and that makes the dogs happy.

THE best!
Our lab is 13, has made a permanent path of solidified earth from his constant fetching in the backyard, and this is his favorite. We've been through several, but few dogs are as persistent as him, and he has family regularly running that energy out of him daily. They are sturdy and unless your dog is a crazed maniac like ours, it will likely last you years. They are NOT a normal, hard frisbee. You will have to get the hang of throwing them, but when you do, they fly wonderfully with great control. Even my nieces got the hang of it by the time they were 5 and 6 years old (with a good bit of practice). They also don't hurt your dog's mouth like most harder frisbees - very important for intense players as they can damage not only their gums, but their eyes and teeth. These are safe, soft, and crazy durable! Awesome, awesome product! Thanks for 13 years of keeping our dog so tired he's always a good boy and too tired out to do neurotic things like destroy our shoes, walls, furniture, major appliances, you know, that kind of thing. ;)

Decent dog disk, but smaller than I was expecting.
First, double check the dimensions of this product: I bought this thinking I was getting a normal size disk and this thing is tiny! My wife must have seen my face when I opened the box, because she thought it was hilarious. I chalked this up to my mistake not reading the description closely. Despite it being small, it does seem to fly well. I can toss this 100 yards, but it takes a little more attention to form than a larger disk if you want this thing to fly. If you keep it perfectly level it will cruise. Tip your wrist a little on the throw and it crashes to earth pretty quickly. As for it being small, my dog couldn't care less -- she loves it. Rosie is a 35 lb Jack-Beagle mix, and this suits her just fine.

This is my dogs BEST FRIEND!
Our dog has more than 20 toys to choose from, but this is by far her favorite, she always brings it to us when she wants to play fetch! We have ordered her several over the last 7 years, not b/c they wear out, b/c we tend to misplace them & we can’t live without them. A testimony to the durability of this Ruff Dawg K9 Flyer, we were playing with it at my father’s lake home when it was accidentally thrown in the lake. We did not see it go into the water but when we were moving the boat lift a year later my Dad dug the Ruff Dawg K9 flyer up out of the muddy lake bottom, it was dirty, but in perfect condition & our dog had a joyous reunion with her best friend, but of course by that time we had a new one (bonus now we have 2)!! Shown in the photo is the Ruff Dawg K9 Junior Flyer after it had been in the bottom of the lake for over a year!

Nice weight and soft but rips easily
Although the frisbee is soft and has a good weight it rips after a few weeks of play then becomes useless.
