Lana Del Rey - Born to Die (Songbook): The Paradise Edition Kindle Edition

Lana Del Rey is one of the most interesting song writers out there, and I think some of her songs will become classics. This edition goes deep, capturing some of her Lizzie Grant stuff like "Yayo" in the "Paradise Edition". I wish it also had "Hundred Dollar Bill." I wish this edition also had Young And Beautiful, but it doesn't. Fortunately, the discounted price makes up for the extra dough I will be shelling out for Young And Beautiful. I'm looking forward to singing though the songs. And maybe even doing some of it as jazz arrangements with a band. I'm trying to figure out why another person ordering this was upset that the melody lines are only approximations of what the song actually is. You can't always capture someone's vocal style with written notes, and most of the American Songbook is meant to be performed to taste. And even Mozart is edited by those who have opinions about what the diacritical marks should be. Take these songs and make them your own. Lana would like that. (And so would Lizzie

Beautiful book and nice clean sheet music! It doesn’t have the full big arrangements that you would expect from a Lana Del Rey song but it’s enough to know the song and still get the occasional chills!

Essentially the melody and harmony lines. You could do just as good a job picking out the melody with your toes. Very disappointed. :(

Includes every song from paradise extended edition, love it. I bought it for the piano sheets, which I was worried would be not up to scratch as it is a piano/vocal/guitar book, but IT WAS PERFECT. I now own all of the album sheet music books for Lana. Rip my bank account. Love you Lana.

I bought it used and it is in excellent condition.

I'm a grade 5 in piano and I can easily read and play this music. It usually takes me about 15 minutes to be able to play each song fluently and easily. You could still play this music if you had less experience but it just might take you a bit longer to learn.

The songs on this album are absolutely beautiful and such a pleasure to play. Whether you're a casual fan, looking for something new to try or a big Del Rey fan, this is a great book.
