For starters I will say I live in SE Texas, and we get pretty hot down here. I mainly wanted something to cover my arms so I don't tan or burn. Since I'm pretty light complected I either tan, or I'll either burn. I don't want to do either so I looked for sleeves. These claim to provide a cooling effect. Of course I was skeptical. I usually like black but black tends to absorb heat more so wasn't sure how well it'll work if I got black. So I chose the light blue colour. As far as uv protection, it's hard to say but I'm assuming it is protecting my arms since I've neither burned or tanned. I have no car so Mom and I walk to work (22 minutes to and from) and I work 4-5 days a week and I've been using them since I got them (about 2 or 3 months now?) and I will say they have NOT LOST their hold!! I'm extremely surprised that they are still nice and tight and hacent been worn out or started to roll down my arms yet! So I'd say they have great durability in that aspect! I have seen a few threads starting to snag a long my wrists but it's not too bad. The material isn't so thin and cheap that it'll unravel from a lose thread. Theure also pretty long. My arms are quite short so I can literally slide these all the way up my shoulder and still have it cover my hand and fingers. It's stretchy but will keep it's hold around your arm. If you have plus size arms or big muscles, it'll probably fit you tight and be too uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Now onto the cooling factor. I will say it does AND doesn't work. Does it keep you cool? Yes and no. Yes if there is a breeze/some wind. It'll keep you cool. Especially if you walk into a place with a you'll feelt the cooling INSTANTLY! Does it keep you cool when there is no wind? No, no it does not. BUT it also WILL NOT make you hotter. Unlike a sweater, hoodie or normal long sleeve shirt that will make you hotter when wearing in this summer heat, these sleeves do not make you hotter. You can wear them and feel comfortable. And again when you get that wind, ooohh baby do you feel some coolness! So again yes and no to the cooling effect. But take this with a grain of salt since this is MY experience we're talking about. And again I live in SE Texas. So for others they might feel more of a cooling effect than me depending on the area they live in and the humidity etc. But all in all these are great. The compression is nice as well. I say these are pretty decent to try out! And the prices aren't too bad either! I will definitely be buying more from this brand!

I play golf in hot humid South Carolina and the summers have been intolerable until I bought these sleeves. They really are cooling, offer sun protection, and are comfortable to wear. I no longer need to carry my fan and cooling scarf on the course. Truly remarkable! I bought 3 more pairs. Can’t recommend them enough. Buy them. You won’t regret it.

I use these sleeves all the time. They are a bit long, but I would rather have them long than short. They do not slide down and you can wear them all day. They are comfortable. I have a sun allergy and have to wear them when outside. They are breathable to some extent. It doesn't hold in heat, but it doesn't keep you cool either. I would buy it again. The only con is they pill because of the material other than that I love them.

I use these when walking the dog each morning and they are great. Quick to put on and keeps your arms cooler. Also, they are great for golf and other outdoor activities.

Only wore twice so far for rounds of golf. They are comfortable and do not feel tight on upper arm. The question is whether they will last long and not lose elasticity. The jury is out on that but so far so good.

I actually use these to cover my tattoo from the sun, & to help protect the color, and it works so great!! Sometimes it will roll down once it has been wet buttttt obviously they aren’t designed to go up over the shoulder but I tend to pull mine all the way over the shoulder to fully cover my tattoo!Definitely recommend and ordering more lol!

I got this with the intention of covering up my sleeve tattoo in the interest of catering to those who make more money than I do who don't appreciate body art...and I'd say it does a great job. Packaged well and arrived very quickly. It comes with two sleeves in a plastic zip lock bag type item. They stretch very well and are easy to get on the arm with a couple pulls. It takes a little extra work at the top of the arm/shoulder area but not too bad and overall I feel like they're pretty comfortable after a couple hours. We will see how they hold up to wear and tear and washes, but so far I am very happy with these sleeves. Bonus that I can wear them for regular use also to protect against UV sun stuff, so these might come into play during summer pool time to avoid spraying or slathering on goop to those spots.

Wore these every day on my 3 week cycling trip in Cuba and they were perfect for sun protection.

Recomendables.

Great product. Cooling to wear and stays in place. Less expensive than some other similar products. I have become sun sensitive due to a side effect of a recent perscription. These sleeves allow me to keep and use all of my short sleeved shirts.
