Yaaa, I'm happy to find a replacement for my brush from a trip to Paris, bought 3 & they lasted 20 years.It's so hard to find a long handle bath brush to really gave a good wash! I don't understand how someone goes to the shower w/ soap & a soft wash cloth & expect to clean ones dirty, sweaty, hairy back without taking not only the dirt, stink, dead skin w/ skin mites, bacteria & least one layer of the epidermis! All you're doing is adding another layer, of soap! You are not clean if you don't exfoliate! Silly Americans....This brush does all the above plus, stimulates blood circulation keeping you clean longer, encouraging new skin growth & making it unnecessary to use deodorant!!!I use liquid soap w/sea salt in a circular motion after getting my skin wet enough to make it easier to address all those bacterial colonies & skin baggage right off, wherein, keeping ones towels less of a fuzzy Petri dish & more an object to dry off, keeping the towels cleaner longer.I also use the brush for dry exfoliation, great before shaving legs.A nice clean looking brush, strong handle, I say, medium stiff bristles (the French ones were a little harder, not good for filthy virgin skin, if you're not used to it)Try it, live healthy, it's a very reasonable price too. What more do you need?

This is easy to grip, the bristles are a little stiff at first, but once you get them soaped up they tend to glide much better.

The bristles are just right. Like the 3 bears, not too hard, not too soft, just right.I bought both this oval and the round brush heads of this. The round has a sharper curve in the handle than the oval. ONE CAVEAT: The ribs on the handle, shown in the pic go in the wrong direction. This is some kind of lucite/plastic, which is sweet for keeping clean, but SLIPPERY as heck! This makes it hard to get proper pressure of bristles to back at some angles and the ribs just don't help. Very frustrating but it is otherwise such a nice brush that I'm looking for a way to improve the grip, even if it means destroying that sleek/clean look of the handle... maybe adding some grip type material like I add to the underside of my shoulder strap on my pocketbook.

This Aquasentials Long Handle Bath Brush is listed as having regular stiffness bristles. I would say they are more on the stiffer side than the softer side when brand new. I previously bought this brush almost 6 years ago and decided it was time for a new one. The bristles on the old brush were still fine, but the base of the bristles were brownish(see pictures). I know, yucky. I should have ordered a new one sooner. I use it to scrub my back and my feet. This brush lasts a long time for me. As I look at all the other posted reviews, I have to conclude that we're all receiving different brushes--either that, or people have enormous differences in their perception of what's a soft brush, and what's overly stiff or rough. The brush I received looks identical to the photo on the website. The handle is quite sturdy, and the ridges help make it easier to hold on to. But the brush itself is so soft, the bristles are so silky, it's more like a hairbrush for a newborn baby (if you've ever seen one of them). I can pour shower gel onto the bristles and create a lather on my back, but I can barely feel the brush! The bristles bend at the slightest touch; it feels more like wiping my back with a piece of soft corduroy fabric than brushing it with a bath brush. It's very difficult for me to understand the many reviews that talk about how stiff this brush is, unless they're talking about the thick, unbendable handle...or unless they received a much different product than I got! I would recommend this brush ONLY to someone who is interested in gently tickling their skin--someone who really, REALLY doesn't want to feel like that their back has actually been scrubbed after they've used it.

This is just the thing I was looking for it makes me feel so exfoliated and clean; the bristles are so firm but not too rough. If you have really REALLY sensitive soft skin I would get the softer bristles but other than that this is great I love it 👍

Bristles too soft, and it snapped after a weeks use.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this based on the price, as I thought the brush might not be the best.I was wrong; this is an awesome product. It has a nice stiff back brush, is lightweight, and has a good design.
